Dorothy Best has been a veteran of the entertainment industry for 54 years. Her production credits include a syndicated fishing show, a video release film “DeathMask”, a short film “House of Forever” which won the Peoples Choice Award at the 2004 Melbourne Independent Filmmaker Festival. She produced the marketing short film “Hellbent for Good Times”, along with numerous commercials and corporate promos. In 2002 she founded Best Friend Films with Kevin Lang - listed below. Kevin Lang – Producer/Director/Editor
Kevin began at the youthful age of 17 as an entrepreneur when he began producing live
concert events and started Pyramid Recordings a recording studio/music store in Howell,
Michigan.
Kevin then moved on to film and television in Orlando, Florida gaining experience in all
fascits of production and postproduction. Kevin’s first hand knowledge of these areas of
business have made him a great asset to any production.
His coverage of President Bush at Booker Elementary is now a part of history on that fate
full day September 11, 2001. Kevin also served as a cameraman for Steven Speilberg’s
documentary on holocaust victims “Shoah” and produced documentaries for VH1 with
Britney Spears, Steven Tyler and Ray Charles. Kevin has also earned editorial status for
the animation world with his work on Project Firefly’s “FarmForce” .
Kevin has also directed a short film “House of Forever” winner of people’s choice award
at Melbourne Film Festival 2004, as well as directed a music video for Warner Brothers
“Smallville”.
